ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Philosophy Shawl is the sixth shawl of the It’s all relative collection. Inspired by my aunt Lupe, the youngest of my father’s siblings, who has fought her whole life with a congenital condition. She overcame all obstacles in her way and today she is a philosopher and a published poet, jet setting the world whenever she has the chance.

This triangle shawl is worked top-down, alternating stockinette and garter sections.

SIZE
160cm (63 in) wingspan x 72cm (28 in) depth

MATERIALS
Yarn: approx. 420m (460 yds) worsted weight yarn (sample in the picture features Cisne Coats Crafts Acalanto cor Azul 5846, 75% acrylic, 21% wool, 4% rayon)
Needles: 6 mm (US 10), or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions: 3 stitch markers, tapestry needle, scissors, blocking tools

GAUGE
12 sts x 24 rows in 10x10cm (4x4 inches) in garter stitch after blocking
