Phoebe
by Julia Riede
Do you love crescent shawls but don’t like short rows? This shawl is the solution for your dilemma.
Phoebe is a so-called winged crescent shawl, worked top down without using short rows - shaped by increases only!
This pattern features two color Vikkel braids, creating lines of horizontally aligned knit stitches dividing the different color sections. Detailed instructions on how to work a Vikkel braid are included in the pattern.
Three colorways of Malabrigo Yarn Arroyo have been used to knit the samples: Purpuras, Natural and Sand Banks, about 0.5 skeins per color.
