With their glistening shell buttons, shimmering ribbon edging, and cashmere-blended softness, it’s easy to imagine these wristlets adorning all manner of Jazz Age evening wear. While they’ll keep Phryne cozy peeking from the sleeves of her velvet evening coat, they will equally delight the modern knitter as she toils at her computer on a winter day.

Wristlets: Remnant of Tess Designer Yarns Kitten approx 325 yds (297 m)/3.5oz (100 g), 65% Cashmere, 35% Silk. Color: Cobalt Blue #112150.
Picot Edging: Remnant of Tess Designer Yarns Microfiber Ribbon approx 333 yds (304 m)/5.25oz (150 g), 100% Nylon Microfiber. Color: Cobalt Blue #112150.
One pair US 4 (3.5 mm) straight needles, or size needed to obtain correct gauge
Cable needle
Tapestry needle
US G-6 (4 mm) crochet hook
Sewing needle
Thread to match color of yarn
Ten ½” 13 mm diameter buttons

GAUGE: 24-st panel = approx 3½“ (9 cm) wide, and 31 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Cabled Lace patt st, blocked.

PATTERN NOTES:
Cabled lace pattern instructions are the same as for the Phryne Head Wrap. Two strands of Kitten are held together throughout.
