This is a skirt and stole set. The solid stitch is a linked treble; the raised texture is slanted split puff stitches. (Please note that in the photo, the stole is accidentally worn inside out LOL.)

This is one of 4 variations of “Stretchy Skirt Sets,” one of the first crochet design sketches I ever submitted, in 2004. Three of the four crochet patterns were published by Jean Leinhauser and Rita Weiss for two of their books in 2005 and 2006.

The original sketch was tinted with colored pencils but Jean and Rita still have the original. It was before I started doing electronic submissions.
