Picket Ponyhat
I love winter hats that allow your ponytail to thread through the back. They stay in place well and don’t flatten your hair as much.
Many knitters enjoyed the original Ponyhat pattern. This design has been updated to include a fun and easy stitch pattern that reminds me of a picket fence. The hat keeps your ears extra warm with a doubled cuff.
Pattern begins with a crochet cast-on, cuff is doubled, then hat is worked back and forth to create ponytail opening in the back.
