The simple construction and meticulously thought-out grading make it possible for any size of this shawl to be knitted with a single skein of fingering weight yarn. The pattern is available in 4 sizes, described as follows: 1, 2 (3, 4).

1. Size 1 is a scarf-type size, suitable for the neck or headscarf, and can be worked with a single mini skein.
2. Size 2 is a shawl/scarf designed to be wrapped a couple of times around the neck, and is worked with one fingering skein – 50 g standard weight (approximately 200m).
3. Size 3 is a standard size shawl and can be worked with one fingering skein – 100 g standard weight (approximately 400m).
4. Size 4 is a slightly larger shawl that requires one fingering skein with a composition that provides extra length.
