Picture Perfect Blanket
This pattern is suitable for intermediate knitters, or adventurous beginners! The Picture Perfect Blanket is so called because the border edging is reminiscent of a classic picture frame. This square blanket is worked diagonally, increasing from one corner and then decreasing down to the opposite corner, and it is super simple to adapt to whatever size you would like to make.
You will need: Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran, 55% Wool, 33% Acrylic, 12% Cashmere; 90m/98yds per 50g ball. (The blanket photographed is the colour Mustard); 5mm/US 8 circular knitting needles, at least 80cm long; Tapestry needle and scissors.
The blanket pattern is adaptable for any size. I have used 400g of Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran, and once blocked the finished blanket when laid flat measures 35” x 35”/90cm x 90cm.
