This striped shawl is knit top-down.
Some clarifications to the description of this pattern:
The shawl does not start with a garter tab. It starts with a 7 st cast on, then moves on to two-row St stripes, and ends with a two-row garter st striped border.

Always slip markers purlwise as you come to them.
