This beanie is a part of the Inari Collection, inspired by the shapes and textures of the wilderness in the Inari region in Finnish Lapland. Pielpa is a name of a lake in the area.
This is a beginner friendly, fun and quick knit with a 8-ply / worsted weight yarn
and a stitch pattern that is easy to memorize!
Size: One size.
Designed to fit 53-56cm / 21-22” head circumference with
5-8cm / 2-3” of negative ease.

The Woolly 8ply is a smooth, worsted spun yarn with a smooth texture, a good stitch definition and elasticity.
Needles:
Choose the type of needle according to your preferred method of knitting in the round:
Size A: Ribbed cuff
3.5mm / US 4 or size required to get gauge.
Size B: Chevron pattern
4.5mm / US7 or size required to get gauge.
Notions:
Stitch markers, tapestry needle.
For Pompom: Pompom maker or cardboard.

- measured from a relaxed fabric after blocking.
Ribbing gauge
21 sts x 30 rows to 10cm / 4” on 3.5mm / US 4 needles in k2, p2
Chevron pattern gauge
22.5 sts x 26.5 rows to 10cm / 4” on 4.5mm / US7 needles
