Important sizing note: Pina is intended to be worn with lots of positive ease around the bust but it has fitted sleeves. Therefore please select your size based on the following finished upper arm circumference:

Yarn: Yarn On The House, Big Sister (DK weight; 80% superwash Merino wool, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon polyamide; 211 m / 231 yds per 100 g skein)
Shade: Mint; 8 (8, 8, 9, 9, 9, 10, 10) skeins
Gauge: 19.5 sts & 27 rows = 10 cm / 4” over stocking stitch on 4.5 mm needles after blocking.
27 sts & 27 rows = 10 cm / 4” over stitches 20-33 of Chart E on 4.5 mm knitting needles after blocking.
Needles: 4 mm / US 6 AND 4.5 mm / US 7 knitting needles
4 mm / US 6 AND 4.5 mm / US 7 needles suitable for working small circumferences in the round. Always use a needle size that will result
in the correct gauge after blocking.
Notions: 3 stitch markers, locking stitch markers for Japanese Short Rows (JSR), cable needle, stitch holders or scrap yarn, tapestry needle, t-pins and blocking wires
Notes: Pina is constructed in pieces from the bottom up. Shaping occurs to transition the body from cables to stocking stitch, and shaping is worked at the neck edge. Shoulders are shaped with short rows, and sleeves are picked up and knit down after seaming.
Please note this pattern uses following abbreviation -
M1PR: Make 1 Right Purlwise; Insert LH needle from back to front under horizontal strand between st just worked and next st, purl into the front of this stitch.
