The design for these socks was inspired by a sock blank that had been hand painted with baubles and bows on a green background. The design was created to look good on both a speckled or slightly variegated yarn as well as a solid or tonal yarn.

These socks are knitted toe up with a short row heel. The pattern is both written and charted.
