This fun design makes a great addition to holiday and/or rustic home decor. It adds a touch of whimsy, and the neutral color and simple texture give it a timeless quality.

Directions are given to work either in the round or flat. Both versions are worked bottom up using decreases and cast on stitches for shaping. Working in the round requires shorter seams and is all one piece. Stitches are cast on in the middle of the round for the branches. To work flat, two tree shaped pieces are made and sewn together. Stitches are cast on at the beginning and end of a row to form the branches.
