This light-as-air poncho uses a vintage pineapple crochet lace design to make two rectangular panels. The panels are then edged in two additional vintage techniques: filet crochet and picot shell stitch. The resulting piece is magically modern and easy to wear.

Yarn Willow Yarns Veil (100% Egyptian Giza mercerized cotton; 306 yd/1.75 oz): #0001 chiffon, 6 (7, 8) balls.

Hook Size D/3 (3.25 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Gauge 42 sts (3 patt reps) = 4.5” wide and 16 rows = 3.75”.
