Pinecone Cardigan (long and short sleeve) in Summer yarn

For gorgeous lace in super soft cotton, look no further than our new Pinecone Cardigan. Both the body and long sleeves of this garment are adorned with a dainty pine cone motif, which provides a fantastic introduction to simple lacework and an impressive resulting fabric.

This cardigan was designed to be knit top-down, so there’s no seaming involved and adjusting the garment length is a straightforward process. With two different sleeve length options and 15 gorgeous shades of Summer yarn to choose from, you’ll want to make more than one!

Pattern Level: Intermediate

Sizes: XS/S (M/L, XL/2X)

Materials:

• Loopy Mango Summer Yarn 90 yds 82 m | 100 g 3.5 oz each, 100% cotton: Short Sleeve: 5 (6, 7) balls; Long Sleeve: 7 (8, 10) balls
• Size US 10 (6 mm) circular needles 32’’ (80 cm) in length

Note: You can make this entire garment using 32’’ long needles. However, you will need to use magic loop method for the sleeves as this length is too long. To avoid magic loop you can use shorter 16’’ needles OR DPN.

Gauge: Stockinette on size US 10: 13 sts/4”, 19.5 rows/4”

XS/S: width: 15.5” (39.5 cm), length: 16.5” (42 cm)
M/L: width: 19” (48.5 cm), length: 19” (48 cm)
XL/2X: width: 22” (56 cm), length: 21” (53 cm)
