Don’t let the Purl 5 together intimidate you. This is a deceptively simple pattern that works beautifully for men or women. Worked in chunky yarn on size 10.5 US needle, the elongated segments in the center of the scarf are reminiscent of the gothic arches of our windows while the main pattern looks like the pine cones I admire on my treks through Oak Openings State Metropark.
