Pinelands Topper
PATTERN DESCRIPTION:
The Pinelands Topper: This topper/poncho was designed with easy wear and style in mind. It drapes beautifully around the body and its’ open boat neck allows for easy on and off. The open herringbone pattern on the front was designed to look like a tall pine tree in the designers’ home state, it is bordered by 2 mock cables.
Level: Confident Beginner and Above.
Skills Needed: Pattern reading, knit, purl, mock cables, mattress seaming. Shape is achieved with construction and no complicated decreasing/increasing of sts is needed.
Loom: 48 peg, 5/8” peg spacing loom (purple round KK loom, CinDWood 48 peg loom or equivalent)
Pattern Sizes: Women’s small/Medium and Large/X-large. Although this topper/poncho lays nicely on the body, it does have a very roomy forgiving fit.
