After many letters and calls, we are posting a clarification about Row 50 of this afghan. There is no error and the instructions are complete as written.

Please be sure the increases on Row 50 are being made by knitting into the front and back of the next stitch as indicated in the note on page 10. Knitting into the front and back of the next stitch (a knit bar increase) uses one stitch to make two stitches. Other methods such as a make one (M1) or a yarn over (YO) simply make another stitch without using a stitch. If the increases are being made by using M1 or YO, then there will be stitches left at the end of the row. Also, the pattern in the hearts will be shifted if the increases are not worked properly according to the pattern instructions.
