“Pulli” in German is an abbreviation for pullover or sweater. The Pink Pulli features a gathered pleating at the front décolleté.

One of the things that I love about the contiguous method, is that you do not have to pick up stitches and you don’t usually have to knit short rows. You cast on and just knit!

What I do not like about the contiguous method is that no matter what kind of increase methods you use, the shoulder seam does not look its best because increases do not give the “seam” any strength”. Thus, I came up with a slightly different method, that reverse engineers the shoulder seam, using decreases. With decreases, you create a much stronger fabric because just by the nature of knitting decreases, you overlap yarn and stitches. I think that you will like the result.

3.25 mm & 3.5mm – 40 cm Rundstricknadeln & Nadelspiel
2 mm - 60 cm & 80 cm Rundstricknadeln – um Maschen anzustricken
Häkelnadel – für provisorischen Maschenanschlag

Maschenprobe: 24 M & 36 R = 4”/10,26 cm mit größerer Nadelstärke gestrickt, gewaschen und leicht gespannt (ca. (25 M & 38 R = 4”/10,26 cm ungewaschen)

Sonstiges: Maschenmarkierringe (2 verschiedene), Restgarn um Maschen stillzulegen, Stopfnadel, Häkelnadel (provisorischen Maschenanschlag)
