This pattern has been updated to have a standard thumb gusset thumb instead of the Peasant Thumb. It is still a charted only pattern. Any kind of Fingering or Sport weight yarn is acceptable.

Each mitten is worked in the round. Carry yarns not in used lightly across the back of the work. Refer to the left and right mitten charts and use stitch markers to delineate side borders from the palm and back of hand patterns. White purl stitches in the design are placed only over an existing white knit stitch. Thumb stitches may be reserved on a stitch holder or scrap yarn. Be sure to try on your mitten as you work to ensure consistent fit.
