Finished Size 30 (34, 38, 42 1/2, 46, 50 1/2)“ bust circumference. Cardigan shown measures 34”, modeled with 2” of positive ease.
Yarn HiKoo Rylie (50% baby alpaca, 25% linen, 25% mulberry silk; 274 yd 251 m/3 1/2 oz 100 g): #90 driftwood, 4 (4, 5, 5, 6, 6) skeins. Yarn distributed by Skacel.
Needles Body and sleeves—size 6 (4 mm): 32” circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Ribbing—size 5 (3.75 mm): 32” cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.
Gauge 22 sts and 28 rows = 4” in St st on larger needle; 32 sts and 36 rows = 4” in Pintuck patt on larger needle.
Slip-stitch columns gradually travel across the fronts of this jacket, pulling the fabric together to create both its shaping and its swinging hem.
