This pattern uses DK yarn and a 4mm hook (or size hook to give the correct size squares)
I used Yarnsmiths Create DK yarn for my blanket, a yarn pack is available from Wool Warehouse.
Any DK yarn can be used, and any colours, it would make a great stash buster. I have given exact quantities I used for mine on the pattern.
It is advisable to practice a square, if your squares are larger than mine, you may need extra black, and white yarn
