The oversized triangles in alternating colors give the Pinwheel Pullover its name. Featuring a clever modular construction, the front of this sweater starts with a single triangle and grows as stitches are picked up for the subsequent sections. The back is worked separately in stockinette with the main color, then stitches are picked up and worked in the round for the sleeves, collar, and hem.

Needles Sizes 8 (5 mm) and 10 (6 mm): 32” circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Size 8 (5 mm): 16” cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

• The front of this pullover is worked back and forth in four triangles. The bottom triangle is cast on and worked first. The next three triangles are each picked up from a previous triangle (counterclockwise) and knit. The last triangle is sewn to the first triangle. The back is worked back and forth with the main color and sewn to the front. The sleeves, collar, and bottom band are then picked up and worked in the round.
