Pippus-pants are worked from top down in the round. The stitch pattern is stretchy so the pants will fit to variety of body types. Short rows are worked at the end of the waist ribbing to raise the back. The crotch stitches are bound off with 3 needle bind off while you are knitting so there is no seaming afterwards. The long ribbed waist and cuffs can be folded first and later be used as elongations so the pants will grow with your child.
