Pirate Costume (boots)
These are approximately 40” long tube socks with gathered toe made using the Knitfy Knitter pink long loom.
The top is folded over to form a cuff and uses two buttons sewn/linked together on one side to help hold the sock up on the leg.
You will need a ball of brown chunky yarn for each 40 inch sock; so you may use 1 ball for a small costume or may use 2 balls for a larger adult.
These tube socks are worn tucked inside boots allowing the button cuffs to show above the top edges. Alternatively suggested is to to wear them over shoes or to add a thick slipper sole in order to wear alone.
For small children’s feet, the Knifty Knitter Flower Loom may be used instead.
