The rippling waters of the Euphrates river cascade down the edges of this top-down crescent shawl, framing the two fish of the constellation Pisces. The western fish, as seen from mid-northern latitudes, swims horizontally, representing life on earth, while the eastern fish ascends toward the heavens. The border features stylized repetitions of the entire constellation.

The blocked shawl is about 20” from neck to lower edge, with a 42” wingspan.
