Pattern uses #6 (US) steel hook, which is 1.8mm.

I’ve reworked this pattern so that it lies MUCH flatter and have made an enormous lace shawl out of it. Eventually, I want to write it down in the new, improved version and post it up here. It really does work up nicely in sock-weight now. Patience! :-)
