A medium sized plaid felted handbag measuring 10” wide x 5” deep x 6” tall with a 24” long strap.

The design utilizes the intarsia method of knitting: each block is a separate bobbin of yarn. The thing to remember is to cross the color you are want to knit from….over the color you are dropping ….to tie the color blocks together. It’s actually easy - and my intarsia experience is very limited!

The black and white plaid sample uses black, white, and gray wool yarn; the magenta plaid uses black and magenta to create a simulated plaid.

In addition to the wool yarn (2 skeins black, 1.5 skeins gray, 1 skein white or 3 skeins black, 2 skeins magenta), you will need the following purchased items:

2 D-rings or square rings
1, 2-piece latch set or other closure hardware
