Plain Jane Pullover
by Edie Eckman
A drop-shoulder sweater is about the easiest sweater shape to
crochet. It’s just two rectangles for the body and two trapezoids
for the sleeves, with a little bit of neck shaping thrown in. What
better way to practice your first wearable sweater?
The simple shaping lends itself to customization. Try stripes
or color blocks. Add surface embellishment. Customize your
sweater to make it a perfect fit for your body.
Pattern tips are included for customizing the fit. This pattern uses American crochet terminology and includes a schematic. The sweater is meant to fit with 6-8” worth of ease in the bust.
