The Play all Day Vest pattern is designed to fit 0 - 4 year olds, in 5 separate sizes, and is a unisex pattern. The pompoms are fun for baby to play with even when its nap time!

There is now the option of sizes 3 and 4 and the addition of a hood and buttons instead of the neckties.

Most sizes use 10ply/Aran weight yarn except for the smallest, 0-3 months which requires 8ply/DK weight yarn. I also suggest cotton or softer Merino or similar yarn for the 0-3 month size.
The size 3 and 4 require chunky/bulky weight yarn.

I’ve suggested Bendigo luxury 10ply wool for the three larger sizes as this vest is meant as outer wear for warmth in Spring or Autumn, and layered for Winter. I’ve made the larger sizes in 10ply cotton also, which works well. Any equivalent weight to the yarn I’ve suggested will work.
