Sweater is worked in one piece in garter stitch, from bottom back to bottom front, incorporating sleeves. Sew side seams and add buttons to finish. Sleeves incorporate dolman-style shaping. End of sleeves are simply folded to create ‘cuffs’.

Hat is worked flat in garter stitch. Sew seam to finish.

Ed. note: Pattern can be adapted for boys or girls (reverse buttons/buttonholes).
