Plissé Jacket

Gauge
26 sts and 44 rows in Texture pattern with needles size 3 mm / US 2.5 = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches
25 sts and 48 rows in garter stitch and pleats with needles size 3 mm / US 2.5 = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches

Procedure
The pattern is worked back and forth in knit and purl stitches. First, a band is knitted that runs down the center back from the neckline to the pleated edge. From here stitches har picked up and knitted, first for the left side and sleeve, then for the right side and the opposite sleeve. Along the lower edge, stitches are picked up and the pleated edge is worked back and forth from the top down to the desired length. Only the seams under the sleeves need to be sewn together.
