Plum Rain

This is a seamless pullover worked from top down with boat neck, raglan sleeves, twisted stitches along sleeves and cables and lace motif near the cuffs.
2 versions included in the pattern:
version one; cropped length with 2 colors.
version two: slightly longer length in single color.
Sizes:
- 10 sizes available, 30 (32, 35, 38, 40, 42, 45, 48, 50, 52), sizes are based on finished chest measurements in inches.
- 0 to 3” / 0 to 7.5 cm positive ease is recommended.
- Sweater modeled in size 38 with 1 1/2” / 4 cm of positive ease.
Yarn:
Sport weight or light DK yarn
- Version 1 (Green/Pink): Yarn A - Madelinetosh Tosh Sport (100% merino) – 710 (760, 830, 890, 950, 1020, 1080, 1150, 1230, 1310) yards / 650 (695, 760, 815, 870, 935, 990, 1055, 1125, 1200) meters. Yarn B - Debbie Bliss Baby Casmerino (55% Wool, 33% Microfiber, 12% Cashmere) – 240 (260, 280, 300, 320, 340, 370, 380, 400, 420) yards / 220 (240, 260, 275, 295, 315, 340, 350, 370, 385) meters
- Version 2 (Dark Gray): Needful Yarns Cara (100% merino) 1150 (1230, 1340, 1440, 1530, 1640, 1740, 1850, 1970, 2090) yards / 1055 (1125, 1225, 1320, 1400, 1500, 1595, 1695, 1805, 1915) note: version 2 sample was over-dyed with dark gray after completion of sweater.
Design
- Seamless raglan style pullover knitted top down in one piece.
- Gentle Waist shaping.
- Gentle dropped hem on lower back created by short rows.
- Garter stitch for neck, hem, and cuff edges.
- Twisted stitch decorating along sleeves, with cables and lace motif on cuffs.
Construction:
- CO for neck edge, work top down in round to underarm.
- Put sleeve sts on waste yarn.
- Continue working body in round to hem.
- Version 1: work short rows before change to second color. Version 2: work short rows right above hem.
- Work sleeves in round to cuff.
Required Skill:
- make increases, m1R, m1L, m1PR, m1PL.
- make decreases, k2tog, k3tog, ssk. sssk.
- make yarn over.
- work short rows.
