Knitted seamlessly from the top down and including helpful video tutorials, Poetica is a joy to make and even lovelier to wear.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
US 4/3.5 mm, US 3/3.25 mm and US 2/2.75 mm circular needles 32”/80 cm, and US 4/3.5 mm, and US 3/3.25 mm for knitting small circumferences. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

4 stitch markers, waste yarn or stitch holder, sewing needle.
5 buttons approx. 0.75”/2 cm diameter & 4 removable markers.

Optional: Embroidery thread and needle.

YARN
For the cardigan: approx. 3 (4, 4, 4, 4, 4) (5, 5, 5, 5, 6) (6, 6, 6, 6) skeins of Dreamfire Yarns Clayton NSW Merino (100% Non Superwash Merino wool; 394 yds/360 m per 100g skein).

If substituting approx. 1180 (1270, 1330, 1420, 1490, 1570) (1640, 1750, 1820, 1920, 1990) (2080, 2140, 2230, 2320) yds/1080 (1160, 1220, 1300, 1360, 1440) (1500, 1600, 1660, 1760, 1820) (1900, 1960, 2040, 2120) m of fingering-weight yarn.

For the embroidery (optional): approx 4 mini-skeins of Dreamfire Yarns Bluefaced Leicester wool and Silk 4ply Yarn (55% Blue Faced Leicester/45% silk; 13 yds/12 m per 10g skein), one each of Colour A, Colour B, Colour C and Colour D.

GAUGE
25 sts/40 = 4”/10 cm with US 4/3.5 mm needles in stockinette stitch, flat & in the round, after wet blocking.
