Poinsettia Romper
The Poinsettia Romper is perfect for the holidays and also for spring!! The leaf design along the sides is not only stunning, but perfect for photography. From any angle this romper is beautiful. Pattern is for Romper Only, Santa Hat will be available with the Santa Overall Set
Supplies
Knitting Needles:
Size 8 (5.0 mm) Circulars or DPNs
Crochet I-hook if chaining straps
Ribbon if desired for straps
Stitch Marker
Sewing Needle
Scissors
Yarn:
Cascade HighlandDuo or Malabrigo Worsted
Main Color for Trim, Contrasting Color for Body if desired. Can be done in one color.
Yardage: approx. 110 yards for newborn, 130 yards for 6 month, 150 yards for 12 month, 170 yards for 18 month
Abbreviations / Stitches
CO- cast on
k- knit
p- purl
k2tog- knit two stitches together
k3tog- knit three stitches together
p3tog- purl three together
ssp- slip, slip, purl
yo- yarn over
skpo- slip, knit, pass over
Gauge:
20 stitches by 26 rows in stockinette
= 4 inches x 4 inches
Skill Level
Intermediate
Size: Not including straps
Newborn 11 inches long x 6 inches wide
6 months: 12 inches long x 7 ½ inches wide
12 months: 13 inches long x 8 inches wide
18 months: 13 ½ inches long x 8 ½ inches wide
For straps either tie/sew a ribbon onto the front and back sides, or using a crochet hook chain desired length strap. This can be make with shoulder ties or a halter tie.
