The Pointer cowl is a (pointy) bottom-up joy of colour work. It is designed using 2 colours. In this instance burnt orange and cream. I was influenced by triangles and arrows that appear in urban settings. This pattern has come out of my fascination for pattern, the order of the numbers within the pattern, how the sequencing changes and pattern emerges. This is a super soft cosy cowl. A perfect addition to your wardrobe for when the weather gets colder.

This was originally designed to complement the crew neck version of the pointer sweater.

I have given you size options as it is quite a snug cowl. Choose a bigger size if you want it to be a bit looser.

NOTES

This Cowl is worked seamlessly in the round from the bottom up.

For the colour work, in this pattern the CC is held as the dominant colour. The CC strand should always cross below the other yarn, and the MC strand should always cross above the other yarn.

Work the floats loosely to keep the work from puckering. It is recommended to knit a gauge swatch from the charts.

All charts are read from bottom to top and from right to left.
