Crochet the most adorable Polar Bear Pillow to decorate your home for the Holidays!
This soft, squishy bear will cheer up your living room couch or children’s bedroom. Make it for Christmas and keep it around for the whole Winter!

The pattern gives you the instructions for making the pillowcase, which you will need to stuff using a standard 20” (50 cm) pillow, like the ones from Ikea or other stores.

The pillowcase consists of 3 panels: front panel, back/large panel, and back/small panel. The details of the bear on the front panel are crocheted separately and sewn on.

This pattern is written in US terms

MATERIALS
– 5.0 mm (H/8 US, 6 UK) Crochet Hook
– Aran (4, Medium) Yarn
– Tapestry Needle
– 20” by 20” (50 cm by 50 cm) Cushion
– 1 Red Pom-pom
– 4 Buttons, 1.4” (3.5 cm) in Diameter

YARN & COLORS
I used Stylecraft Special Aran (214 yds / 196 m per 100 g), in the following colors:
– Blue – Cornish Blue (1841) – 2 balls
– Cream – Cream (1005) – 1 ball
– Red – Lipstick Red (1246) – 1 ball
– Black – Black (1002) – scrap amounts
– Grey – Silver (1203) – small amounts
– Pink – Pale Rose (1080) – scrap amounts
Feel free to use any comparable yarn that meets gauge.

SIZE
20” by 20” (50 cm by 50 cm).

GAUGE
15 sts for 18.5 rows in 4” (10 cm) in sc.
