Polar Vortex
This was a fun pattern to knit, even with the beads. Only ribbing and stockinette/stocking stitch. You can make the cowl bigger by working more rows of ribbing, just make sure you have the extra yarn needed! The yarn is dk on size US6/4mm 24”/60cm circular knitting needles. It works up quickly with just knit and purl stitches. Included is a big, easy to read chart for the snowflakes.
I love beading my knits! It adds drama, luster, and weight to the project. You can also use white dk weight yarn instead of beads and work stockinette/stocking stitch stranded colorwork, if you prefer. Or leave out all beads/colorwork and just knit the area that would be charted with the same or contrasting yarn (also dk) to make this super quick if you need a last minute gift!
This cowl will be happily received by anyone or make one for yourself. You deserve it!
