Polaris Sweater is knitted top-down without seams. The neck is knit in the round to start, followed by increases to shape the shoulders. Then, the front and back are divided and knitted flat separately to create space for the armhole opening. After that, the pieces are joined again and knitted in the round until the desired length is reached. Next, the stitches for the sleeves are picked up.

Knit Your Favorite Version of the Polaris Sweater. You decide how to knit your version of the sweater. You can choose to incorporate Short Rows or not, depending on your preference. You can also choose between long sleeves or sleeveless. The white sweater with long sleeves has a 5 cm/2” high neck, no Short Rows for the neckline, but it does have Short Rows to lengthen the back of the body. On the other hand, the sleeveless gray sweater has a 3 cm/1.25” high neck, includes Short Rows to shape the neckline, and also features Short Rows to lengthen the back of the body.
