Polka Dot Party Blanket
I designed this colourful blanket for Crochet Now magazine issue 109. I have updated the pattern to include step by step photos and a US terms version. The pattern is written in English.
The blanket is made up of brightly coloured polka dot hexagons, arranged in a rainbow spectrum, separated with zigzag stripes of the same bold colours. It’s a real celebration of colour!
YOU WILL NEED - DK yarn - 200g (450m) in 5 vibrant colours, 600g (1350m) of background colour (cream). I used the West Yorkshire Spinners Colourlab DK.
4mm crochet hook.
Scissors.
Stitch marker.
Each hexagon measures 10cm across.
the finished blanket measures 120cm wide x 160cm length.
