Two sizes to fit the average adult. Use the number before the parentheses to make the short version of the cowl and the number inside the parentheses for the long version.

YARN
Approximately 280(420) yards of DK weight yarn.
2(3) skeins of Savage Hart Farm (100% Wool; 140 yds/57g).
Sample shown in Warm Gray.

NEEDLES
Size 8 (5.0 mm) 16(24)” circular needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)

GAUGE
16 stitches x 28 rows = 4” in Stockinette Stitch Pattern
Note: Obtaining row gauge is not essential for this design, but it will affect the height of the cowl.

NOTIONS
Stitch Markers, tapestry needle, and cable needle (optional)

SKILLS USED
