Polly Blanket
Thank you for choosing this pattern! I hope you enjoy making this blanket as much as I enjoyed designing it.
The pattern features a simple modular construction made up of four distinct wedges, starting with a garter stitch stripe border that is worked sideways. Stitches for the main section of each wedge are then picked up along the side edge of the border. The central colour-blocked section is knitted in stocking stitch.
Fashioned decreases along the sides of each wedge create a neat edge that’s perfect for seaming with mattress stitch. While the blanket is worked in four colours, feel free to customise the palette to suit your preferences.
This blanket is ideal for knitters with average to intermediate skills.
