Poly (short for polychromatic) is a playground for that special worsted weight, variegated yarn that has caught your eye. Using ruching, entrelac, and a simple field of dot stitch, as well as two other colors, Poly uses texture, direction, and other yarn colors to anchor and provide visual order. While this sample utilizes a variegated yarn whose hank is primarily dark with roughly 8” of a highly variegated patch, the design could easily handle a much more wildly variegated colorway. Sized to be worn as a stole or a thick scarf, Poly will chase away both the chill and the winter doldrums.
