A short scarf with one end sewn into a cuff through which the opposite end can be threaded, Polymorphous 1 is perfect as first project for an absolute beginner. The sewn cuff is knitted in garter stitch, the rest of the scarf is ribbed to prevent it from curling up. Thread the long tail of the scarf into the cuff from the front to create a ring around your neck, tread it through the back for a more cravat-like look. You can also wind twice the scarf around your neck before threading the end in the cuff (in your favorite direction) to make it into a cowl.

L’estremità cucita a tubo è lavorata a maglia legaccio, il resto della sciarpa è a coste per evitare che si arrotoli. Inserite nell’asola creata cucendo l’estremità opposta della sciarpa dal davanti per chiuderla. Inserendola in verso opposto otterrete una sorta di cravatta. Potete anche avvolgere la sciarpa due volte attorno al collo prima di inserirla nell’asola (nella direzione preferita) per trasformarla in un collo.
