………………………………………
This relaxed-fitting women’s pullover was inspired by Pomegranate, a fitted pullover with set-in sleeves first published in 2011. Pom2 uses the same stitch pattern for the center lace panel, but otherwise the two designs are entirely different.
Pom2 has a relaxed fit with no waist shaping and modified dropped shoulders. The hem, sleeves, and neckband are worked in 1x1 ribbing.
The construction is entirely seamless. The body is worked in the round to the armholes. After the armholes, the front and back are worked separately and the shoulders are joined using the three-needle bind-off. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armholes and the sleeves are worked from the top down in the round.
This sweater is designed to be worn with 4–6 inches/10–15 cm positive ease and was modeled with approximately 5 inches/13cm ease.
