Where does it start? Where does it end? How does it get from here to there without any seams? I love to construct things that make other knitters go “Hmmmm……how did she do that?” but aren’t really that complicated. You know, the things that make you say, “Now why didn’t I think of that?” This is hopefully one of those.

You can wear the poncho with either the deep corners front and back center, as shown in the top photos, or with them extended down the arms where they’ll hit about wrist-length, giving more coverage there, and giving the body a cropped length as I show it being worn in the bottom photo.
