I wanted something easy to showcase the wonders of assigned pooling yarns with simple knits, purls and yarn overs. On one side of the shawl you knit the solid colour while purling the splatter colour and on the other side you purl the solid colour and knit the splatter colour. It’s really that simple and creates a interesting texture that showcases your pooling yarn in a fun and whimsical way yet it’s easy enough to knit this while you’re watching TV or out for dinner. Not constant looking at your pattern to figure out where you are.
