This was loom knit on an Authentic knitting board which allows for adjustments to obtain gauge. The poppies were later needle felted into place. My quick cheat to intarsia (which I loathe to do). There is a simple Picot crochet trim along the brim which is basic crochet and not necessary to the integrity of the hat. I just like to add like frills here and there. Just to be extra girly you know.
