ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Poppy Top is worked from the top down back and forth in stockinette stitch.
Start the work with a provisional cast-on, then work the chestband, then the body. To achieve the diagonal buttonhole, increase and
decrease at each end while working the buttonhole.
SIZES
XS (S) M (L) XL (XXL) 3XL (4XL)
Size above correpond with the following chest circumference:
76-80 (81-85) 86-93 (94-103) 104-114 (115-126) 127-139 (140-153) cm
Measure your own chest circumference to determine will size will fit you the best. If you run between 2 sizes, it’s recommanded to choose the size up.
MEASUREMENTS
The Poppy Top is designed to have approx. 22 cm of negative ease when measured under the armpit. Meaning the fit should be
approx. 22 cm smaller in circumference than your actual bust measurements.

YARNS AND MATERIALS
Approx. 100 (150) 150 (150) 200 (200) 250 (250) g of Coton 3, from Phildar (50 g = 121 m).
Yarn per size:
XS: 1 ball of each color; (S) M (L): 2 balls of ‘’Cappucino’’ + 1 ball of ‘’ Cyan ‘’; XL (2XL); 3XL (4XL): 3 Capuccino + 2 Cyan
Circular needles 2.5 mm 80 cm
Circular needles 3 mm 80 cm
Crochet Hook 3 mm
6 buttons 13 to 15 cm in diameter
GAUGE
22 stitches x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on needle size 3 mm.
Make a swatch to achieve the same gauge as indicated above. Wash and block your swatch. Needle size is only a guide. If you get
too many stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller needle size.
