Poppy Flower
This pattern is
available for free.
The poppy is the enduring symbol of remembrance of the First World War. It is strongly linked with Armistice Day (11 November), but the poppy’s origin as a popular symbol of remembrance lies in the landscapes of the First World War.
The red poppy has become a symbol of war remembrance the world over. People in many countries wear the poppy to remember those who died in war or are serving in the armed forces. In Australia, we wear poppies on ANZAC day to remember the fallen.
Poppy Flower was the April pattern of the Yarnish CALendar, 2021, and is now be available on my blog.
