Poppy for Remembrance Day
by Anne Egan
This pattern is
available for free.
Throughout October and November, wearing a scarlet poppy is a sign of remembrance in the UK, tying in with Remembrance Sunday on 9 November. It’s particularly poignant this year, as August 2014 saw the WW1 Centenary – the 100th anniversary of Britain entering the conflict. To mark this, we’ve shared this free pattern from issue 24 to help all those crocheting poppies to raise money for The Royal British Legion this year.
